Eden Brown Synergy currently looking for an experienced and motivated Advanced Practitioner for Assessment Team with Lincolnshire County Council.

Job Title: Advanced Practitioner - Assessment Team.
Location: Gresley Road, Off Stewton Lane, Louth, Lincolnshire, LN11 8FG, United Kingdom
Pay Rate: £40 per hour
Working Pattern: 1 week in 3 office-based (duty week), 2 weeks hybrid

About the Role

As an Advanced Practitioner within the FAST Team, you will work at the frontline of Children's Services, responding to safeguarding concerns and completing timely, high-quality assessments.

The team operates a three-week duty cycle:

  • 1 week on duty - allocated new cases and full-time office based
  • 2 weeks off duty - hybrid working, progressing assessments and plans

During duty weeks, practitioners are expected to be office based to support collaboration, effective case allocation, and prompt safeguarding decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake Child and Family Assessments following safeguarding referrals
  • Work in partnership with multi-agency professionals to gather information and assess risk
  • Carry out statutory enquiries and direct work with children and families
  • Ensure children are being cared for safely and risks are effectively managed
  • Manage cases within Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) frameworks
  • Progress and manage cases within private and public law proceedings
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and quality assurance within the team
  • Maintain accurate recording and ensure compliance with statutory timescales

About You

We are seeking a practitioner who:

  • Is a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
  • Has substantial post-qualifying experience within Children's Safeguarding
  • Has strong working knowledge of CIN and CP processes
  • Has experience managing private and public law proceedings
  • Demonstrates confident risk assessment and analytical skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced duty environment
  • Is passionate about improving outcomes for children and families
