Job Opportunity: Head of LDS (Learning and Data Services)
Location: FE College in South East London (across Southwark and Lewisham campuses)
Start Date: 9th June 2025
Duration: Until at least January 2026
Hours: Full-time
Rate: £34- £36 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

An established FE college in South East London is seeking an experienced senior professional to take on the role of Head of LDS. This strategic post requires strong leadership in funding, data management, audit compliance, and business planning.

We are looking for someone who has previously held positions such as Director of MIS, MIS Manager, or equivalent within the Further Education sector. You will provide high-level oversight and support to the existing Exams Manager and lead on ensuring effective and compliant MIS functions.

Please note: This is not a Report Writer or Exams Manager position. Those functions are already staffed.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in FE funding, data systems, and audit readiness
  • Strong understanding of MIS operations, including course file management and timetabling
  • Ability to deliver results with minimal handholding - you must be able to hit the ground running
  • Flexibility to work across both Lewisham and Southwark campuses

While we welcome applicants from outside the FE sector, prior experience in Further Education is strongly preferred due to the complexity of systems involved.
