Description

My client based in Cambridgeshire is looking to hire a Rents Assistant for an initial period of around 3 months. You will be an experienced customer service champion with a strong background in credit control and debt recovery. The key aim of this role is to assist in collection of any rent owed to my client in respect of houses and garages.

As the Rents Assistant, you will covering the following duties:

1.Maintain tenant rent accounts to ensure that rents are correctly charged and that all monies due are correctly accounted for.

2.Reconcile weekly accounts to ensure all transactions have been properly accounted for and debit correctly raised using established procedure

3.Ensure payments are allocated to correct accounts to maintain accurate balances.

4.Successfully negotiate repayment arrangements with tenants in arrears and take swift action against non-payers.

5.Deal efficiently and professionally with personal and written enquiries in accordance with published performance indicators.

6.Deal with refunds and amounts written off and ensure that these reconcile to the Financial Management System.

7.Other duties as may be required from time to time to assist in the smooth running of the Section.

8.Assist in/manage the identification, development and implementation of manual and information technology systems and procedures
