💼 The Role
As a Social Worker within the CP/CIN Team, you will:
- Manage a varied caseload of Child Protection and Children in Need cases.
- Undertake assessments, care planning, and direct work with children and families.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
- Ensure children are safeguarded and supported in line with statutory responsibilities.
- Prepare reports and attend conferences, reviews, and court proceedings where required.
✅ Essential Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualified experience within Children's Services.
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures, legislation, and best practice within Children's Services.
- Excellent assessment, communication, and relationship-building skills.
