As a Social Worker within the CP/CIN Team, you will:

  • Manage a varied caseload of Child Protection and Children in Need cases.
  • Undertake assessments, care planning, and direct work with children and families.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Ensure children are safeguarded and supported in line with statutory responsibilities.
  • Prepare reports and attend conferences, reviews, and court proceedings where required.

βœ… Essential Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualified experience within Children's Services.
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures, legislation, and best practice within Children's Services.
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and relationship-building skills.
