Advance Social Worker required for work within the Disable childrens Team in the Devon area based in North Devon - Springfield Court, Barnstaple. 18.50 hrs a week. Competitive rates of pay up to £42ph. The team has a strong management structure. Hybrid working.Working Hours: 18.5 hrs p/w, 2,5 working days per week, Wed (1/2 day), Thurs, Friday.

An accommodation/commuter allowance of £150 per week is offered for candidates who fall within the agreed eligibility guidelines. Please note that this allowance will be reviewed at the end of June 2026.

Disabled Childrens Service, North Devon - Springfield Court, Barnstaple

Working as an Advanced Social Worker, you will work closely with your Team Manager, you will provide professional leadership and supervision to colleagues within your team, supporting your manager with the day-to-day operations and contributing to an effective and efficient service to the Disabled Children Service, North Devon.

Office-based and homeworking arrangements will be discussed further at interview.
Advanced Social Workers provide a lead social work role within each team, supporting the development of good evidence-based practice. With substantial post-qualifying experience and the ability to demonstrate that you're working at the Advanced Social Worker level, you will:
* Demonstrate the ability to work with families with complex needs within a multi-agency environment
* Be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of social work mentoring, coaching and training professional colleagues
* Have evidence of substantial post-qualifying training and development
* Be able to lead improvement and challenge the quality of social care practice in a constructive manner

You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
