Electrically maintenance engineer

Up to £36K

My client is one of the largest, national full service facilities management provider who pride themselves on being flexible and tailoring their service to client's needs. Operating for many years, this company is well established with strong client relationships however is still growing strongly which will provide excellent career progression opportunities for staff joining the company.

Summary of Role:
It is the responsibility of the Electrical Engineer to manage all elements assigned to them in a professional and safe manner. The specific details will vary depending on the nature of the Account and the range of facilities, assets and service lines being managed Establishment and administration of working processes, planned and reactive maintenance regimes, health and safety management and support to the Account commercial team are all key parts of the role. Generally reporting to the Facilities Manager or Principle Engineer, the role will involve pro-actively managing planned and reactive electrical work orders.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Confer with engineers, customers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products.
- Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
- Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
- Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
- Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.

Qualifications: Must have Electrical City & Guilds C&G 2360 or equivalent, BS7671 (17th or 18th Edition). C&G 2391 or equivalent desired
Relevant Experience: Experience in planned preventative maintenance, Reactive fault and Carrying out reactive & installation maintenance required.

You must also be enthusiastic and a good self-starter and time keeper as you will be managing your own schedule day to day. The client understands operations need to be run efficiently in order to provide a good service so training and progression is provided as well as overtime and a very competitive pension plan.
