Learning Support Assistant - SEND


£75 per day

Eden Brown Education are currently working with schools across greater Manchester area who can provide support to children and young people with a range of additional needs to help improve pupils abilities academically, socially and mentally. We are looking for confident candidates who would be able to work with young people 1:1 and in small groups to:

- Improve confidence and work to break down emotional barriers to learning
- Build great rapport and connect with individuals to work towards reaching their highest potential in the classroom

The successful candidate will:

- Be able to use strategies deescalate a situation before it reaches crisis point
- Experience working with children or young people with ADHD, ASD, SEBD or SEMH is crucial
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one - If you require a new DBS not only will we guide you through the application process, we will also pay for the new certificate
- Patience and confidence in dealing with challenging behaviours
- You absolutely must be able to work on your own initiative and be able to think on your feet
- Have a genuine passion to improve the lives of young people
- Have an innovative and creative approach to teaching and learning
