MEAP is currently recruiting for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to support disabled children across Manchester. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a high-demand, city-wide service that provides specialist equipment, adaptations, and holistic assessments for children with complex physical and hidden disabilities.

You will manage your own caseload and work collaboratively with children's services, healthcare professionals, and hospital teams to ensure every child receives the right support, at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:
Complete holistic assessments for children with complex needs

Recommend and coordinate the provision of bespoke equipment and adaptations (major/minor)

Undertake moving and handling assessments and safety reviews

Write clear, concise, and comprehensive reports

Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Travel city-wide to visit families (some before/after school hours required)

About You:
We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Occupational Therapist who:

Has experience in paediatric OT, particularly with complex needs

Is confident in assessing for and recommending specialist equipment and home adaptations

Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrates strong IT literacy and report writing ability

Can manage a varied caseload independently

Holds a valid UK driving licence and is able to travel across Manchester
