Exciting opportunity for experienced Social Worker to work within the Adult Safeguarding Team in the beautiful area of Cornwall. Rate up to 40ph. 3 month minimum contract that will be on going after initial review. Exciting opportunity in a lovely rural area in the South West. Offices based across Mid Cornwall, St Austell. Due to Covid home working through out but you do have access to office. Would possibly want a office presence 1-2 days a week when normal working practice returns.


Responsibilities comprise the following:

*Experience undertaking Section 42 Safeguarding Enquiries and complex assessments
*Need to demonstrate application and commitment to Making Safeguarding Personal
*Ability to undertake assessment of risk and risk management.
*Evidence of partnership working in order to ensure vulnerable adults are protected from abuse.

*As part of this triaging process to develop strong communication, to facilitate sharing of information with partner agencies to identify potential risk, and safeguard people from significant harm or exploitation to work in partnership with all agencies including providers to ensure protection for adults at risk of abuse or neglect


You will be SWE registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
