Children's SW - Duty & Assessment Team - Shropshire
Join our dedicated team in Shropshire as a Qualified Social Worker in the Children's Duty & Assessment Team. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes for children.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local policies and legislation.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in children's social work, particularly in duty and assessment settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external agencies.
