The City of Wolverhampton is seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team. In this crucial role, you will work collaboratively with various agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults in our community. Your expertise will play a vital part in assessing needs, developing care plans, and implementing interventions that promote independence and quality of life.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults in need of support, ensuring all safeguarding concerns are addressed.
  • Working closely with partner agencies to share information and develop effective multi-agency plans.
  • Providing high-quality support and guidance to individuals and their families, promoting empowerment and informed decision-making.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with local policies and procedures.
  • Participating in team meetings, case reviews, and training sessions to enhance team performance and service delivery.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or DipSW).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrable experience in adult social work, preferably in a safeguarding context.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to best practices in social work.
