As a Senior Social Worker in the Child Protection field, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families in need. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and investigations into child protection concerns Developing and implementing care plans to support children and families Providing support and guidance to less experienced social workers Working collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children Participating in case conferences and court proceedings as required

To excel in this role, you must possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

A recognized Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England Demonstrable experience working in Child Protection and Safeguarding Strong assessment and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
