Position: Advanced Practitioner - Children and Families Team

Team: C&F Team 2

Location: Keighley & Shipley

Pay Rate: £37 per hour (umbrella)

Contract: 3 months (possible extension)

Working Style: Hybrid - office attendance required for specific tasks/team days

Lead by example in managing complex child protection, CIN, and care proceedings cases

Provide support and mentoring to Social Workers within the team

Promote and model reflective, evidence-based practice

Chair multi-agency meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making

Act as a key liaison between the team and other professionals/agencies

Ensure high standards of safeguarding and quality assurance in casework

Support with performance tracking and professional development

Qualified Social Worker with active Social Work England registration

Extensive post-qualifying experience in children's services

Proven ability to manage complex cases, mentor colleagues, and lead practice

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Enhanced DBS on the update service

Flexibility to work from both home and the office as required

Competitive hourly umbrella rate - £37 p/h

Flexible hybrid working model

Priority access to exclusive locum roles

Weekly payroll and dedicated consultant support

Referral Bonus: Recommend a qualified candidate and earn up to £300 when they complete 60 days (T&Cs apply)
