Position: Adult Social Worker
Location: Bromley Civic Centre and hybrid working
Rate: £32 per hour
Contract: 3 months (extension likely)
Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week

The Role:

Bromley Adult Social Care Services is looking for a committed and experienced Social Worker to join their team during an exciting period of transformation. The role involves all statutory responsibilities under the Care Act, including safeguarding, care planning, and multidisciplinary working.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out Care Act assessments and reviews

Undertake safeguarding enquiries (S.42) and MCA/Best Interest assessments

Record and manage cases in line with professional standards

Collaborate with health and care partners to support service users

Provide guidance to less experienced team members when required

Requirements:

Social Work qualification and SWE registration

Strong assessment, communication, and IT skills

Solid experience in adult social care, including safeguarding

Able to travel for assessments within and outside the borough
