We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join the Complex Occupational Therapy Service within Hammersmith & Fulham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a specialist team delivering care to individuals with complex needs and multiple pathologies, including psychological, neurological, emotional, behavioural, social, or age-related conditions.

You will be supporting professional Occupational Therapists in the assessment, planning, and delivery of interventions aimed at improving independence, safety, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing a clinical caseload of service users with complex, multi-faceted needs

Support assessments, intervention planning, and delivery under the supervision of qualified OTs

Promote person-centred care with a focus on enabling functional independence

Work collaboratively with the wider multi-disciplinary team to deliver coordinated care

Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with policies and procedures

Requirements
Previous experience in a health or social care setting (preferably in an occupational therapy or rehabilitation environment)

Understanding of occupational therapy practices and complex condition management

Ability to communicate effectively and build trust with service users and professionals

Organised, empathetic, and reliable with a strong team ethic

Enhanced DBS and professional references required prior to start

What We Offer
£24.74 per hour

12-week contract with possibility of extension

36 hours per week, including 2 days office-based
