Qualified Social Worker - Adult Services Team
Location: London Borough of Sutton
Team: Adult Social Care - Social Work Team
Rate: £30.00 per hour (LTD)
Contract: Locum, full-time

The London Borough of Sutton is seeking an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join their Adult Services Social Work Team on a locum basis.

This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work within a well-established team, focusing on delivering person-centred and strengths-based approaches to adults with a range of care and support needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Undertaking Care Act 2014 assessments, support planning and reviews

Carrying out risk assessments and safeguarding enquiries, including protection planning meetings and reviews

Completing Mental Capacity Act assessments and Best Interest decisions

Contributing to Court of Protection applications as required

Carrying out Carers' assessments and reviews

Attending and contributing to NHS Checklist and Decision Support Tool (DST) meetings

Requirements:
Social Work England registered

Extensive post-qualifying experience in adult social care

Strong working knowledge of the Care Act, MCA, and safeguarding procedures

Ability to manage a varied caseload and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain)
