The Ward is a 10 bedded male acute ward. We support NHS patients from across the country when in times of crisis. We admit people with mental health illnesses predominantly psychosis, depression, personality disorders and other diagnoses. Our usual length of stay runs from a few days to months and we support patients to return to their own communities with help from their home teams. We work as a Multi skilled team consisting of Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Speciality Doctor, Consultant, Psychologist and Occupational Therapist.




The role includes leading the delivery of a comprehensive Patient/Service User nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of person centred care in a collaborative way of both their mental and physical healthcare needs, maintaining the Patient/Service Users rights.
