Overview:
A leading private hospital in Leeds is seeking Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurses (RNLD) to join its nursing team.

The hospital provides high-dependency recovery and rehabilitation care for adult males with a range of mental health conditions. As the hospital expands to include two bespoke new therapeutic areas, this is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing service.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to patients

Act as named nurse, collaborating with patients and families on care plans

Monitor, review and evaluate patient progress and care plans

Accurately observe and engage with patients, responding to their needs

Lead and delegate nursing duties on shift, acting as nurse in charge when required

Maintain a safe and therapeutic care environment

Promote positive relationships with patients, families and the MDT

Support newly qualified staff as a preceptor

Ensure compliance with safeguarding, Mental Health Act and Deprivation of Liberty Standards

Adhere to medicines management and clinical governance procedures

Participate in clinical supervision and reflective practice

Requirements:

Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD)

Experience working within a mental health or LD inpatient setting desirable

Strong teamworking and communication skills

Professional, compassionate and adaptable approach

Commitment to personal development and professional revalidation

Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Ward Manager to join a specialist private hospital in Leeds. The hospital provides integrated care for adults with a range of complex mental health needs and is supported by a multi-disciplinary clinical team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the nursing team on the ward and contributing to the wider hospital leadership team. The role will offer a mix of clinical leadership, operational oversight and service development.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strong leadership and day-to-day management of the ward team

Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care

Lead on clinical governance, quality improvement and audit processes

Manage staffing levels, rostering, and resource allocation

Oversee Medicines Management, equipment, and all ward resources

Maintain a safe and clean ward environment aligned with CQC standards

Ensure accurate and confidential patient records and data

Participate as a key member of the hospital leadership team

Work a mix of supernumerary and clinical shifts to meet service needs

Requirements:

Registered with NMC or HCPC

At least 2 years experience in a supervisory or management role within a clinical setting

Proven leadership skills and ability to manage and develop teams

Experience in clinical audit, quality improvement and service development

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Competent IT skills and knowledge of staff rostering systems

Willingness to undertake further training and leadership development
