Job Title: Deputy Ward Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to support the delivery of high-quality care and provide leadership within our ward team at Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal. This role is ideal for a senior RMN ready to step into a leadership position.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Ward Manager in the day-to-day running of the ward

Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing staff

Ensure effective risk management and safeguarding procedures

Lead on clinical audits, care planning, and compliance

Promote a positive, supportive culture within the team

Requirements:

NMC-registered RMN with relevant leadership experience

Proven ability to manage clinical teams effectively

Strong understanding of mental health legislation and CQC standards

Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
