We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our team in Blackburn with Darwen, focusing on Adult Safeguarding. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults in our community.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks of adults at risk Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users, families, and other professionals Providing support and advocacy for adults at risk to safeguard their rights and promote independence Participating in multi-agency meetings and case conferences to coordinate interventions and support Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and registration with Social Work England Demonstrated experience working in Adult Safeguarding within a social care setting Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify risks and develop appropriate interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users, families, and partner agencies Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced and challenging environment
