Join our dedicated Adult's Social Work - Learning Disabilities Team in Leicestershire, where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. As a qualified social worker, you will be responsible for assessing needs, developing care plans, and providing support to both individuals and their families. Your expertise will help empower clients to achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals’ needs and circumstances. Developing and implementing person-centered care plans in collaboration with clients and their families. Providing advocacy and support to individuals to promote their rights and choices. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure coordinated care. Monitoring and reviewing care plans to ensure they are effective and responsive to changing needs.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA in Social Work, MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in adult social care, particularly with individuals with learning disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
