We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practitioner in Adult Safeguarding to join our team in Somerset. As a key member of our Qualified Social Work department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults in our community.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Conducting complex assessments of adults at risk of abuse or neglect Developing and implementing safeguarding plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams Providing expert advice and guidance to social workers and other professionals on safeguarding issues Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and ensure appropriate interventions Contributing to the continuous improvement of safeguarding practices through training and policy developmentEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England Significant experience in adult safeguarding within a social work setting Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to adult safeguarding Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with service users, families, and professionals Ability to work autonomously, make sound decisions, and manage complex cases effectivelyAdditional requirements and benefits:
