This pivotal role requires an individual who is committed to safeguarding adults and enhancing their quality of life. As part of our vibrant team, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of vulnerable adults, ensuring their safety, and coordinating with various agencies to provide comprehensive support.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough assessments of adult safeguarding concerns and determining appropriate interventions. Collaborating with statutory and voluntary agencies to develop and implement support plans. Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders regarding adult safeguarding practices. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with local and national policies. Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of services.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in adult social work, preferably within a safeguarding context. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
