Join our dynamic Integrated Front Door Team in Barnsley as a Children's Social Worker (SSW). Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans tailored to individual cases. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Providing support and guidance to families to empower them in making positive changes.

To be successful in this role, you must possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
