Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Gloucestershire County Council is seeking a qualified social worker to join our dynamic Children’s Locality Team. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with families, communities, and professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of children in our locality.
As a member of our Children’s Locality Team, you will be responsible for:
Assessing the needs of children and families, creating and implementing tailored support plans. Conducting regular visits to families, ensuring the safety and well-being of children. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to provide holistic support and intervention. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and working with children and families. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
