Northamptonshire Children's Trust are looking for an experienced Kinship Social Worker to join their dedicated Kinship Assessment Team.

Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake Initial Viability Assessments (IVAs) and full Kinship Fostering and Special Guardianship Order (SGO) assessments
* Provide supervision to temporarily approved Kinship Foster Carers
* Participate in the team duty rota on a periodic basis
* Work collaboratively within the Kinship team and across NCT services to support and promote best practice

Location:
* Hybrid model: Majority of work is completed remotely
* Based at One Angel Square (OAS), Northampton, NN1 1ED

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 3 years' PERM experience as a social worker within children's services
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle

Job Summary:

Northamptonshire Children's Trust is currently recruiting a Children's Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Service. This team supports children and families through Child in Need plans, Child Protection processes, and holds cases from the point of transfer from the DAAT team until closure. The work is dynamic, complex, and highly rewarding.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Manage a complex caseload involving Child in Need, Child Protection, and early-stage care proceedings

Complete high-quality assessments, risk evaluations, and intervention plans

Prepare reports and attend multi-agency meetings and court when required

Liaise with families, schools, health professionals, and other stakeholders

Ensure all statutory duties and deadlines are met

Work closely with Children in Care teams when cases escalate

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England

Proven experience in Safeguarding, Child Protection, and CIN work

Strong assessment, planning, and analytical skills

Excellent communication and multi-agency working capabilities

Must be a car driver with access to a vehicle

Minimum of 3 years PQE preferred

Job Description:

West Northamptonshire Council is seeking an experienced Liquid Logic Trainer to support the rollout of their new Liquid Logic system across the county. The role involves delivering effective system training to approximately 1,200 staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions on the Liquid Logic system to council staff

Provide hands-on support to users, helping them understand and navigate the system

Troubleshoot user issues and provide appropriate resolutions during training

Create and update training materials to support system implementation

Travel across various council sites within Northamptonshire (mileage expenses covered)

Requirements:

Proven experience training staff on Liquidlogic social care software or similar Liquidlogic systems

Strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to adapt training methods to suit different user groups and learning styles

Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical queries related to software use
