What We're Looking For:

Confidence in handling difficult conversations

Experience managing Direct Payment Misuse

A solid strengths-based approach to social work practice

Knowledge of Continuing Health Care (CHC)

Experience working in review teams and managing a fast-paced workload

Previous involvement in innovative or transformation teams

Experience with varied service user groups and complex case types

Flexibility to work across different teams as required

Willingness to be onsite 2-3 days per week

Experience using Liquid Logic is highly desirable

Nottingham City Council is looking for an experienced and committed CWD Social Worker to join their Children with Disabilities team.

Your Role Will Include:

Completing comprehensive assessments of disabled children and their families

Managing Child Protection and court processes, including COP DOLS

Undertaking direct work with children with disabilities

Chairing CIN meetings and working closely with professionals and families

Participating in team duty tasks

Writing clear, high-quality reports for CIN, CP, and court proceedings

What They're Looking For:

Qualified Social Worker with current SWE registration

Experience working in a CWD team or similar children's services

Strong understanding of CP processes and relevant legislation

Ability to work collaboratively and produce quality written work
