Experienced Qualified Social Worker to work in LAC/CIC team based in Bournemouth. 3 months + contracts with excellent rates of pay at £45ph. Flexible hybrid working arrangements.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced social worker to join the Looked After Children's Team in Bournemouth. Your duties will include pathway plans, visiting to children in care and care leavers, supporting young people, handle extremely complex cases with the assistance of management team. Maintaining close positive links with outside agencies and service providers within the community is a priority.

Candidates must have the ability to build positive relationships with children & families, knowledge & experience of CLA processes. Ideally court experience. Multi- tasking, able to record accurate information on systems & reports, the ability to work as part of a team is essential.

* Regular supervision for staff
* Team development days available to support on-going learning and making strong progress towards improvement and team plans
* Offices operate in a Smart office mobile working environment and they have good technology including use of laptops and Smart phones to allow staff to flexibly work across the offices.


You will be SWE registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK

Working Pattern: Full-time, Office-Based (80%)

We're urgently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join the Hospital Discharge Team in Bournemouth.

This is not a remote role - there is a requirement for full-time office attendance for the first 6 weeks. Following this period, hybrid arrangements may be reassessed subject to competence review and system access assurance.

Key Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker with post-qualifying experience

Minimum 12 months' experience undertaking statutory Safeguarding Enquiries

Proven experience of completing Care Act Assessments

Proven experience of Section 117 Assessments under MHA 1983

Access to a car - the role involves hospital, home, and community visits

SWE registration and Right to Work in the UK
