Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Social Worker to join Children with Disabilities/Duty and Assessment team for Bradford Council.
Key duties of the role include:
* Holding a caseload of Children in Need under Section 17 of the Children's Act of 1989 and children subject to Child Protection Plans
* Undertaking Initial Assessments
* Undertaking Core Assessments
* Undertaking Parenting Assessments
* Undertaking Risk Assessments
* Undertaking Educational Needs Assessments
* Carrying out home visits for monitoring purposes/ to promote the welfare of and to safeguard the children
* Liaising/ Working close with partnership agencies to support the families and meet the children/ young peoples needs
* Convening and chairing Core Group Meetings
* Producing Initial Child Protection Conference reports
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle

We are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join the Older People's Team within Bradford Adult Social Care. This is a rewarding opportunity for a skilled practitioner to support older adults through direct interventions and multi-disciplinary working.
Candidates must be based locally or within commutable distance, as the role includes emergency visits, home visits, and care home assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out statutory Care Act assessments and reviews
Conduct home visits and visits to care settings
Contribute to and attend multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings
Manage a caseload of older adults, including complex cases
Complete safeguarding enquiries where necessary
Provide timely responses to urgent/emergency referrals
Work collaboratively with health professionals, care providers, and families
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
Previous experience working in an Older People's Team
In-depth knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding processes
Ability to complete high-quality assessments and documentation
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
