Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Supervising social worker in Children's placement Service-Fostering, Support and Development services for Shropshire Council.

About you & role :
* Being a member and team player of an established Support and development service.
* Having a good knowledge and experience working in accordance to Fostering regs, NMS standards.
* Understanding and able to ensure all compliance for foster parents is updated, recorded on LCS.
* Communicate and support foster parents with trauma informed understanding and therapeutic principles.
* To supervise foster carers ensuring all key areas of the role are discussed, recorded and challenged where necessary.
* To carry a case load of foster parents and complete all tasks in accordance to the role of SSW.
* To be able to be efficient recording fostering annual reviews and when required to present to panel.
* To attend team meetings and work as part of the team supporting others where necessary.
* To be part of a duty rota, supporting foster carers, completing viability assessments when required. Twice per month.

We offer a hybrid-work at home policy with access to office space at the Guildhall building in Shrewsbury.( Foster parents live mainly in Shropshire County. Hybrid working approach. Ability to work more at home with occasional office presence. More office presence is available if this is wanted by the agency worker)

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 3 years experience as a social worker within childrens services
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle

* Working in the Case Management or Court Teams is a dynamic and exciting opportunity for a Social Worker who enjoys a varied caseload and working with families to ensure that children are safe and happy long term.
* Every day is different and working within the Case Management Team will give you a well-rounded experience, working with a range of families in need of help and support on Child in Need and Child Protection Plans.
* You would also work with families in PLO and court with children who are looked after. In the Court Team, you would have a protected caseload of children subject to proceedings.
* Families are allocated dependent upon skills and experience, with a wealth of support on offer from the management team and other areas of the service.
Hybrid role - 2 days office based and 3 days visiting and WAH

Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated social worker in Looked After Children (LAC) Service & 16+ Children Looked After Team for Shropshire Council.

As a Social Worker within the Children Looked After Service, you will be responsible for undertaking ongoing assessment work and intervention with children and families. You will be progressing children's plans and ensuring that they are accessing the right level of service at the right time. You will be working closely with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure that the voice of the child is heard, recorded and forms an integral part of your case planning.

* To visit and work with families as required, assessing and re-assessing children's needs whilst being looked after by the local authority.
* To act as a Case Manager and co-ordinate appropriate review meetings.
* To act as Key Worker in cases where a CLA Plan is in operation.
* To provide and contribute to Child & Family Assessments as required.
* To contribute to and to develop ways of identifying and assessing children determined to be in need within the criteria set out in the Children's Services Plan.
* To provide children and families with particular information and advice to assist in resolving problems.
* To liaise with other agencies on behalf of service users, to co-ordinate the various resources and arrange specific types of assistance.
* To carry out statutory duties as authorised by the Service Manager, Safeguarding Service and the Assistant Director and Director of Peoples Services.
* To present evidence and reports to Courts as required.
* To take part in the team's Duty system as required.
* To maintain computerised records and documentation in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
* To work in collaboration with parents, guardians, carers and other professionals in relation to Children Looked After and to maintain records in accordance with CLA requirements.
