Kent County Council is seeking experienced and committed Children's Social Workers to join the Children's Social Work Team (CSWT) based in Isle of Sheppey. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, delivering essential services to vulnerable children and families.

Undertake Section 17 and Section 47 assessments

Manage a caseload involving Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Looked After Children (LAC) cases

Create and implement child-focused care plans

Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure child safety and well-being

Prepare high-quality reports and attend court proceedings when required

Engage in multi-disciplinary meetings and child protection conferences

Qualified Social Worker with active Social Work England registration

At least 2-3 years post-qualifying experience in children's statutory services

Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory frameworks

Excellent assessment, communication, and report-writing skills

Ability to manage a varied and complex caseload
