Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work - Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Suffolk, where you will play a vital role in supporting children and their families. We are seeking a qualified and passionate Social Worker to provide high-quality assessments, interventions, and support to children with disabilities and their families. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including schools, health services, and community organizations, to ensure the best outcomes for our children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children with disabilities and their families to identify needs and develop effective support plans. Providing direct support and intervention to children and their families, promoting their well-being and safeguarding. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate services and resources for children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., degree in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children with disabilities and knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities:
Conducting complex assessments to determine eligibility for services and developing tailored care plans.
Collaborating with clients, carers, and other professionals to ensure the delivery of effective and timely interventions.

Ensuring that services are delivered within budget constraints while maintaining the highest standards of care.

Requirements:

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
