We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our team in Herefordshire in the Fostering Kinship department on a permanent basis. As a QSW focusing on Fostering Kinship, you will play a crucial role in supporting and assessing kinship carers to provide safe and nurturing environments for children in need.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting assessments of kinship carers to ensure they meet the required standards for fostering Providing support and guidance to kinship carers throughout the fostering process Working collaboratively with other professionals to safeguard the welfare of children in kinship care Completing detailed reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner Participating in case conferences and reviews to contribute to the decision-making process

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in fostering and kinship care Registered with Social Work England Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities Strong assessment and analytical skills

Additional requirements:

As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing support to vulnerable children and families in the local community.
