Walsall Council | Adults Social Care
Rate: £28.40 per hour (in line with MOU)
Full-time - 37 hours per week
Walsall Council is seeking a dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Adults Learning Disabilities Team on a locum basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver strengths-based assessments and care planning in line with the Care Act 2014.
Improve outcomes for adults with care and support needs, as well as carers.
Carry out safeguarding duties to protect vulnerable adults from abuse or neglect.
Maintain accountable and ethical social work practice in line with professional standards.
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
Experience in adult social care and knowledge of relevant legislation
Strong communication and assessment skills
