Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in partnership with families and multi-agency teams. Carrying out statutory duties in relation to child protection, including attending court hearings and presenting evidence. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, helping them to navigate challenges and access resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in line with departmental policies and procedures.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
