Team Manager required for work within the Long term Child Protection/Safeguarding Service in the Devon area. Candidates will be working in the long term Child Protection Team based in the area of Cornwall in St. Austell.. Contract for 3- 6 months initially. Flexible hybrid working. Pay rate £43.70ph

The primary role of a Team Manager is practice development, line management functions, supervision and support for a range of practitioners undertaking statutory social work and Youth Justice assessments and co-ordinating complex multi disciplinary plans for young people. Experience in working with practitioners supporting complex adolescents, knowledge and understanding or trauma informed practice. Knowledge or interest in Youth Justice Services.


* Developing close and constructive working relationships with a variety of professionals. An understanding of the need to recognise the importance of partnership working to safeguard children is essential.
* The ability to work at pace, prioritising where required in order to ensure that the children and families access services in a timely way.
* Previous experience of leading and managing a busy front line children's services team



You will be SWE registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
