Leicestershire County Council is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead their dynamic Screening & Assessment Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking local authority that is committed to delivering outstanding services to children and families. You will be responsible for managing a fast-paced front door service, supporting your team in making timely, safe decisions for children at the point of referral.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of Social Workers managing referrals at the front door.
Ensure timely assessments and effective decision-making for children at risk.
Drive performance, quality assurance, and best practice within the team.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.
Provide strong leadership and contribute to service development and improvement.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Team Manager in a Screening, Assessment, or MASH setting.
HCPC/SWE registration and recognised social work qualification.
Proven track record in child protection and front-line management.
Ability to manage performance and meet KPIs in a high-pressure environment.
