Are you a motivated and experienced leader with a passion for improving outcomes for children in care? Nottingham City Council is seeking a skilled Agency Team Manager to join their Children in Care Service during a crucial period of preparation for an upcoming Ofsted inspection.

A strong track record in children's social care

Experience with service improvement and Ofsted preparation

Proven leadership skills to support and guide social work teams

A focus on quality assurance, performance, and data-led decisions

Ability to build effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders

Lead and manage a team of dedicated social workers

Drive the improvement agenda focused on quality and compliance

Shape service delivery and support inspection readiness

Promote a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement

Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England

Significant management experience in children's services

Strong knowledge of safeguarding and statutory responsibilities

Experience leading teams through Ofsted or service transformation
