As part of Sefton Youth Justice Service's ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality services, we are seeking an experienced Youth Justice Service Manager to support the team with practice development and inspection readiness.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in improving practice and performance across the service. The successful candidate will be an established Operational YJS Manager, with a deep understanding of the Standards for Children in the Youth Justice System, and proven experience supporting or leading HMIP inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
* Drive inspection readiness in collaboration with the management team
* Conduct audits and support quality assurance activity
* Support staff development and contribute to improvement planning
* Develop and review operational policies and procedures
* Contribute to the performance and function of the statutory Youth Justice Board
* Support day-to-day practice oversight and service delivery

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Must have Previous Experience of Managing Youth Justice Team
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle
