The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SEND Auditor to join Camden's SEND Service. Reporting to the Service Manager for Quality Assurance, you will be at the forefront of promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning across the service.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving quality, championing high standards in SEND practice, and contributing directly to positive outcomes for Camden's children and families.

Key Responsibilities

As a SEND Auditor, you will:

Promote a strong culture of learning and development by modelling excellent practice and professional values.Conduct consistent and effective audits and sampling of social work and SEND practice, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.Link audit findings directly to practice development and provide constructive feedback to teams and practitioners.Participate in wider practice development initiatives, including support for qualified social workers with specific regulatory requirements.Contribute to strategic service development by providing insight and evidence-based recommendations based on audit activity.Use performance data to understand and improve the lived experience of children and families receiving SEND services.Support the service in achieving and sustaining outstanding levels of practice and leadership across Camden's SEND provision.About You

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and committed SEND Tribunal & Mediation Officer to join our team on an interim basis. You will play a key leadership role in managing and resolving disputes relating to Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans through mediation and tribunal processes. This is a pivotal position within our SEND service, where your expertise will contribute directly to better outcomes for children, young people, and families.

Key Responsibilities

As the Interim SEND Tribunal & Mediation Officer, you will:

Lead tribunal and dispute resolution processes, including preparation and presentation of cases at SENDIST and engagement with the Local Government Ombudsman.Actively promote early resolution, supporting caseworkers to resolve disputes at the earliest opportunity through mediation and dialogue.Advise and attend resolution meetings with families and professionals, negotiating amendments to EHC plans where necessary.Engage with schools and multi-agency partners to promote best practice in person-centred planning and assessments.Support workforce development, identifying and addressing practice concerns across the SEND team in partnership with team managers.Manage responses to all formal and informal concerns, building capacity and confidence within the local SEND system.Act as a central point of contact for families and stakeholders during the tribunal and mediation process, ensuring clear communication and record keeping throughout.Produce reports and briefings, using data and insights to inform service improvements and support strategic planning.Contribute to policy development, promoting consistent and effective decision-making in EHC processes.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Experienced in SEND legislation, tribunals, and dispute resolution processes.A confident communicator with strong negotiation and presentation skills, able to represent the Local Authority in formal legal settings.Proactive and solution-focused, with the ability to build constructive relationships with families and professionals.Highly organised, with excellent record-keeping and analytical skills.A collaborative team player who values inclusive, child-centred practices.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to provide regular ADHD and general psychiatric assessments and reviews for a private healthcare provider. This role is ideal for clinicians looking to supplement their existing commitments with flexible, remote-based work.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct full ADHD/psychiatric assessments - paid at £350 per assessment

Complete medication assessments (1 hour) - paid at £95

Provide 30-minute medication reviews (2 reviews per hour) - £95 per hour

Ensure timely and accurate completion of standardised, pre-formatted documentation

Maintain professional standards of care and patient confidentiality at all times

Requirements:

GMC registered Consultant Psychiatrist with a valid license to practise in the UK
