Barking & Dagenham Council is seeking a skilled and motivated Educational Psychologist to support our statutory duties through timely and high-quality psychological advice for Education, Health and Care (EHC) Needs Assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide statutory psychological advice in line with the SEND Code of Practice
Liaise with schools, families, and professionals to gather and assess relevant information
Contribute to multi-agency decision-making processes
Work flexibly and independently while maintaining a strong commitment to child-centred practice
Requirements:
HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist
Strong experience in completing statutory assessments
Excellent report writing and analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively with schools and local authority colleagues
