Job Title: Qualified Social Worker - Safeguarding & Triage Team Location: Lincolnshire Rate: £38 per hour Contract Type: Locum / Full-Time Are you an experienced Safeguarding Officer with a strong understanding of adult safeguarding legislation and practice? Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a skilled Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join their Safeguarding & Triage Team. Key Responsibilities: Undertake triage of safeguarding concerns in line with Section 42 of the Care Act 2014. Lead and manage Section 42 enquiries, ensuring a person-centred approach. Assess risk effectively and develop proportionate safeguarding plans. Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to safeguard adults at risk. Make defensible decisions under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Essential Requirements: Qualified Social Worker (degree or equivalent) with current Social Work England registration. Proven experience within adult safeguarding, including managing Section 42 enquiries. In-depth understanding of the Care Act 2014 and its application in safeguarding practice.
