We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Lancashire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to vulnerable adults at risk of harm or abuse.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the level of risk and develop appropriate safeguarding plans. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, service users, and their families to ensure the best outcomes for vulnerable adults. Providing advocacy and support to empower service users to make informed decisions about their safety and well-being. Participating in case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings as required to safeguard the rights and welfare of vulnerable adults.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience working in adult safeguarding within a social care setting. Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases with sensitivity and professionalism.Additional requirements:
Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for travel within the community. Commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to undergo relevant training as required.
