Join our dedicated Safeguarding Team in Leicestershire as an Adult's Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults within our community. In this challenging yet rewarding position, you will be responsible for assessing needs, developing care plans, and implementing safeguarding measures to protect individuals from harm. Your work will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including health professionals, families, and community organizations, to provide comprehensive support and advocacy.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of individuals' needs and risks. Developing and reviewing care plans in collaboration with service users and their families. Implementing safeguarding procedures and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Providing support and guidance to service users and their families, ensuring their voices are heard. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with organizational standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings to promote integrated service delivery.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in adult safeguarding and social work practice. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
