We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Safeguarding Team in Somerset. This vital role will focus on promoting the welfare and protection of vulnerable adults, ensuring their rights and dignity are upheld. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with various agencies and stakeholders to provide effective safeguarding interventions and support.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and reviews of adult safeguarding cases to determine the needs and risks involved. Developing and implementing safeguarding plans in conjunction with service users and their families. Collaborating with health, housing, and community services to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records in line with legislation and best practice guidelines. Providing advice and support to colleagues and partner agencies on safeguarding matters.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in adult safeguarding or similar social work settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users and professionals.
