We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Community Interest Company (CIC) in Birmingham, specializing in Qualified Social Work. This pivotal role requires a passionate individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals and families within our community. You will be responsible for leading a team of social workers, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and promoting best practices within the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing expert supervision and guidance to social work staff, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices. Conducting complex assessments and developing tailored intervention plans for clients. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, external agencies, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery. Maintaining accurate records and documentation, adhering to data protection regulations. Participating in training and development initiatives to enhance team skills and knowledge.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant post-qualification experience in a social work setting, with a focus on complex case management. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to support and develop team members.
