We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Adult Safeguarding team in Birmingham. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults within our community. As a Social Worker, you will engage with service users, assess their needs, and develop tailored support plans that promote independence and safeguard their rights.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults at risk and formulating intervention strategies. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for service users. Implementing safeguarding procedures and protocols in line with local and national legislation. Maintaining accurate and confidential case records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Providing support and guidance to families and carers, empowering them to assist in the care of vulnerable adults.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in adult safeguarding and working with vulnerable populations. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
