Join our dedicated Kinship Carers Team in Bolton as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in supporting children and families within our community. In this position, you will work closely with kinship carers to ensure the safety and well-being of children placed in their care, providing guidance, support, and advocacy as needed. Your expertise will be instrumental in building strong relationships and fostering a nurturing environment for children who require stability and care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for kinship families. Providing ongoing support and supervision to kinship carers. Collaborating with other agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Facilitating training and resources for kinship carers to enhance their caregiving skills. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and working with families. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
