We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Court Adviser to join our team in Bristol, covering South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, and Banes. As a CAFCASS/Family Court Adviser, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice to family courts to help them make informed decisions about the welfare of children and young people involved in public and private law proceedings.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Conducting thorough assessments and investigations to gather evidence for court proceedings Providing expert analysis and recommendations to support the best interests of children and families Attending court hearings and representing CAFCASS in a professional and impartial manner Working collaboratively with social work professionals, legal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure effective case managementEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with significant experience in child protection and family court work Registration with Social Work England and a commitment to continuous professional development Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and professionals from diverse backgrounds Excellent analytical and report writing abilities to present complex information clearly and conciselyAdditional requirements or benefits:
