Buckinghamshire Council is seeking a passionate QSW for our South Locality Team, specializing in Child Protection (CP) and Children in Need (CIN) cases. As a Qualified Social Worker in our South Locality Team, you will be responsible for a range of critical duties, including:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify their needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families to promote positive change. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding strategies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working within child protection and children in need frameworks. Strong assessment and analytical skills with a focus on safeguarding.
